Highlandpalooza Donations Needed

The PTA is planning our annual fundraiser – Highlandpalooza – on Saturday, May 18, 2024 and we are seeking prizes and donations for the silent auction which is critical to the event’s success.

What is Highlandpalooza?

Highlandpalooza is the PTA’s annual family fun fest and it’s our largest fundraiser of the year!  The PTA hosts events such as Trunk-or-Treat, Hot Chocolate 5k, the Winter Wonderland Dance, the February Film Fest and more!  The PTA also funds memory books for 5th graders, Highland t-shirts for our Kindergarten students, and several teacher appreciation events throughout the year.  The more money we raise, the more we can do for the students, teachers and families of Highland!

What is the Silent Auction?

In conjunction with Highlandpalooza, the PTA runs a silent auction, where families can bid on items to win, with all proceeds going to the Highland PTA.  The silent auction is run online, and will open a few days before Highlandpalooza, culminating with a final chance to bid throughout the day of Highlandpalooza on May 18th.

What is needed for the Silent Auction?

We seek donations of items for the auction such as gift certificates, gift baskets, services (spa, handyman, etc.), new household items, event tickets, etc. Do you have a service to offer?  Do you own a business, or know someone who does, and can offer a gift certificate?  Did you receive a household gift that you never opened and won’t be using?  Think about donating to our silent auction!  If you, or someone you know, would like to donate to the silent auction please reach out to highlandpalooza68@gmail.com before May 3, 2024.

ABOUT US

What does the PTA do?

We seek to collaborate with the school, district, and community to:

  • Create opportunities to bring all families together.

  • Celebrate our students and staff.

  • Appreciate our teachers and staff.

We do this by meeting together, volunteering at school events, supporting fundraisers and more. We meet bi-monthly and have several ways to get involved and have fun!

We invite you to learn more and join us in supporting our school.  We can't wait to hear from you!

Membership can be purchased during school registration, Open House, or PTA events.  Please consider becoming a member to support our wonderful school! Volunteering and meeting attendance is not required but we could always use a helping hand and have lots of ways to get involved.
